• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, ensuring accurate diagnostics are made to inform treatment plans.
• Develop customized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each client, integrating evidence-based therapeutic strategies.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote recovery and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care and address any multifaceted issues that arise.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, enhancing their understanding of mental health disorders and involving them in the treatment process.

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals working through substance use issues and related mental health disorders. This population often presents with diverse and complex challenges, requiring a nuanced and empathetic approach. Your work will play a crucial role in their recovery, providing them with the tools and strategies needed to overcome their difficulties.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, ideally within a detox setting or with populations facing substance use issues.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for mental health treatment, particularly in the context of addiction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation and individual counseling utilizing various therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines in mental health treatment.
