Job description
Abria Detox is a private facility offering 24/7 detoxification and withdrawal management services. We specialize in treating individuals who have substance use as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Our facility has 20 beds and serves both male and female patients aged 18 and older.
We are seeking Registered Nurses who are enthusiastic about the field of behavioral health to join our team.
Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Minnesota with no disciplinary actions or restrictions.
  • Must be free of chemical use problems for at least two years immediately preceding hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check conducted by the Department of Human Services.
  • Knowledge of addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders and the challenges associated with withdrawal symptoms.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in detox, addiction, and/or behavioral health preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN)
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care for each patient.
  • Communicate appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Reporting patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or medical director in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and manage withdrawal regimes
  • Conduct medical health assessments of all patients at time of admission.
  • Alert physician of significant changes in a patients status, such as complications during detox, medical emergencies, or changes in response to medication.
  • Coordinate with the Medical Director on matters related to medical orders, patient transfers, and incident involving patients.
  • Safely administer medications according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the required staff-to-patient ratios for each shift, ad keep the admissions team updated on the current capacity based on staffing levels.
  • Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Open Shifts :
Full time 8 hour NOC Monday through Friday
Part time 12 hour Days on Saturdays and Sundays 7am-730pm
