Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support electrical design review, BIM coordination, construction coordination, and project execution for water, UPW, semiconductor, high-tech, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for reviewing electrical designs, coordinating 3D models, supporting clash detection, and working closely with engineers, BIM designers, subcontractors, QA/QC teams, and field teams to support project execution.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical design background, experience using Revit and CAD, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. This role plays a key part in improving design accuracy, supporting code compliance, resolving coordination issues, and helping ensure electrical scopes are aligned across multiple working areas.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design and BIM Coordination

  • Develop, review, and support electrical designs using Revit 3D and CAD software
  • Review 3D models and electrical drawings to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements
  • Coordinate with BIM designers and project teams to confirm model updates, drawing revisions, and design changes
  • Review P&IDs and PFDs as needed to cross-check 3D models and system requirements
  • Support the preparation and review of electrical layouts, construction drawings, and related design documentation

Project Coordination and Construction Support

  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, electrical contractors, and field teams to support project execution
  • Communicate with contractors regarding electrical scope clarification, design requirements, construction sequencing, and schedule control
  • Participate in team meetings, construction meetings, and sequencing meetings for electrical scope coordination
  • Coordinate with mechanical teams and other disciplines regarding interface requirements and work sequence
  • Support construction-phase coordination to ensure electrical work is aligned with project standards, schedules, and technical requirements
  • Clash Detection and Quality Control
  • Coordinate clash detection activities and identify conflicts, discrepancies, or design concerns within the model
  • Report model conflicts, electrical scope issues, and coordination concerns to the appropriate project teams
  • Assist in resolving clashes and design coordination issues with internal teams, BIM teams, and subcontractors
  • Support QA/QC coordination related to electrical design, construction documentation, and field execution
  • Help ensure electrical models, drawings, and related documentation are accurate, organized, and aligned with project standards

Electrical Scope Oversight

  • Oversee electrical scopes across multiple working areas and support review of electrical engineering work quality
  • Serve as a main coordination contact for QA/QC, BIM teams, electrical contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
  • Monitor progress related to electrical design, model coordination, drawing review, and project execution
  • Support issue resolution by identifying risks, coordinating with stakeholders, and helping drive practical solutions

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Electrical design background
  • Experience using Revit 3D and CAD for design review, modeling coordination, or drawing review
  • Previous experience supporting electrical design, BIM coordination, construction coordination, or industrial facility projects
  • Project coordination and project management skills
  • Ability to review drawings, models, construction documentation, P&IDs, and PFDs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design, model, or coordination issues
  • English communication required

Preferred

  • Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, water treatment, DI water, UPW, cleanroom, or MEP-related projects
  • Experience working on or supporting active construction sites
  • Knowledge of NEC, UL, NEMA, and Code of Practice requirements
  • Experience coordinating with QA/QC teams, BIM teams, and field construction teams
  • Bilingual ability in Mandarin and English
