Location: Based in Denver (Service area from South Denver to North Fort Collins/Wellington)
Summary: We are looking for a solar crew lead who will work as a two-man crew to complete residential solar removal and reinstallation projects for roof replacements. This is an active roof-top position executing efficient and high quality detach and reset work. We would like this individual to also demonstrate an aptitude for learning electrical as they will work alongside our Master Electrician as an electrical apprentice for residential electrical service work such as panel upgrades, battery installation, EV chargers, lighting retrofits, etc. We value high-quality workmanship, efficiency, customer service, communication, promptness, problem solving and personal initiative to learn and develop new skills.

Job Scope: Residential Removal & Reinstallation
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead remove and reinstallation crew based in Denver. (2-man crew)
- Remove and reinstall various types of solar systems for roof replacements.
- Familiarity with many types of systems, including:
- Inverters: Enphase, Solar Edge, Tesla, SMA, Fronius, PowerOne, AP Systems.
- Rail based systems: Iron Ridge, Unirac, etc.
- Rail-less systems: Tesla Zep, Unirac micro rail, Snap N Rack.
- Ability to learn system types you may not be familiar with, including older systems with dated hardware, WEEB washers, etc.
- Detailed documentation, measurements, string diagrams and photos of pre-existing system conditions to ensure reinstall matches original design, engineering, installation and production.
- Detail oriented to follow company processes and checklist, maintain detailed notes and photos in software system.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot system issues, including equipment issues: i.e. inverter, optimizer, microinverter issues, electrical issues (string sizing issues, ground faults, etc.)
- Strong grasp of solar electrical concepts, including grounding and bonding, systems in series vs. parallel, calculating string sizes, etc.
- Experience working safely on roofs of various pitches and following safety protocols and wearing safety equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting inverter issues, completing minor repairs (i.e. fuse replacement) and working with inverter manufacturer for RMA claim.
- Ability to train less experienced solar crew and double-check oversee their work quality/safety.
- High quality critter guard installation.
Job Scope: Electrical Apprentice
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Electrical apprentice work as assistance is needed by our Master Electrician.
- Proficiency in learning from our Master Electrician and following his instructions and safety protocols will provide consistent hours year-round during Winter months.
- Must demonstrate aptitude to learn both electrical theory in addition to executing electrical service work.
- Our Master Electrician is an excellent teacher and highly skilled. Working under his expertise is a great opportunity for career advancement.
