Job description

Desktop Support Specialist

Location: 5001 Nasa Boulevard Fairmont, WV 26554

Creating and resolving desktop issues for First Energy employees onsite and remote. Primary duties will include standard desktop/laptop break/fix items:

  • Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
  • Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications.
  • Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference).
  • Monitor calls, incidents, and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool.

Top two required skills that candidates must have: Great Customer Service, Desktop Support (Win10 and Office 365).

Work schedule for this position: (M-F) 8am-5pm. Overtime? No. On-call? No.

Overall years of experience should this person have? 12-24 months Enterprise Desktop Support.

Specific certifications or education needed? CompTIA A+ Great to have.

Contract to hire conversion rate: Not more than $23.
