Job Summary:
AA2IT is a company seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support and assistance. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and peripherals, as well as supporting user account information and training employees.
Responsibilities:
• Candidates should have 3-6 years' experience supporting PC Hardware and software.
• Tech should be able to confidently and safely lift up to 50 lbs as well as be able to navigate between buildings and the production floor to support users.
• PC Hardware and software IMAC project work.
• Newly acquired company by our customer is being transitioned which involves PC imaging / setting up / deployment / SNOW for asset tracking – some basic troubleshooting during deployment - should have good customer facing skills and good understanding of desktop support for imaging / deploying / troubleshooting PC's.
• Comfortability providing hands & feet support for Server and Network is a plus.
• Experience supporting mobile data plans, mobile networks, and devices is a plus.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches.
• Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
• Represents CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
