Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Charge Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated accounting professional who enjoys managing the full accounting cycle for multiple clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to a dynamic team within a public accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned clients, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Process payroll, sales tax, and other compliance filings as needed
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Work directly with CPAs and team members on tax preparation and financial reporting
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or full-charge accounting; public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and client service skills
