Desktop Management - Infrastructure Services (IS) - 6-10+ years experience

JAMF to BigFix Migration is must. We need Senior Level 3 Resource and prefer certified and having experience of JAMF and Bigfix migration.

dedicated experience in an enterprise endpoint management or infrastructure engineering role.

Platform Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with HCL BigFix administration, deployment, Upgrades, hierarchy architecture, and troubleshooting in large-scale corporate environments.

Certification: HCL Certified Deployment Professional or equivalent platform certification.

Proficient in BigFix Relevance Language and Action Scripting.

Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or VBScript.

OS Knowledge: Deep familiarity with enterprise operating systems, including Windows and Linux (macOS experience is a plus).

Networking: Sound understanding of fundamental networking concepts, subnets, firewalls, and communication protocols.

Scale: Demonstrated experience managing endpoints across a highly distributed global footprint, including corporate hubs and distribution centers

Essential Skills:

BigFix Engineer Deployment & Configuration

Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain global BigFix environments, including consoles, relays, and client configurations.

Upgrades & Maintenance: Monitor infrastructure health and regularly apply patches, software updates, and major version upgrades to BigFix servers and endpoints.

Enterprise Integration: Ensure seamless integration of BigFix with other core enterprise systems, IT service management tools, and asset discovery databases.

JAMF to BigFix Migration

Migration Strategy: Design, test, and execute the enterprise-wide architecture blueprint to transition Apple macOS endpoints from JAMF Pro control to BigFix management.

Process Automation: Develop automated workflows and scripts to gracefully offboard endpoints from JAMF and seamlessly enroll them into BigFix with zero end-user disruption.

Feature Parity Mapping: Replicate and optimize existing JAMF configuration profiles, security policies, and application payloads within the BigFix environment.

Risk Mitigation: Identify deployment bottlenecks during the migration phases, running pilot validations to guarantee data preservation and continuous compliance state transitions.

This effort will start from day 1 and estimated timeline to complete is 3 6 months.Automation & Software Delivery

Custom Scripting: Develop and implement BigFix automation scripts, baseline policies, and custom tasks to streamline operational workflows.

Application Management: Handle end-to-end application packaging, testing, and deployment across diverse enterprise environments through BigFix.Security & Compliance

Policy Enforcement: Develop, implement, and enforce robust endpoint security policies using BigFix to maintain a strong security posture.

Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks; generate comprehensive reports on endpoint activities, compliance status, and security metrics for IT leadership.

Incident Response: Respond rapidly to security incidents, deploy critical zero-day patches, and provide technical remediation across all endpoints
