Crossroads Medical Group is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Office Front Desk Assistant to join our team.

As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, this role plays an essential part in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the efficient daily operations of the practice. The Office Front Desk Assistant is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical record functions, and providing exceptional service to patients, families, providers, and team members.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service.
  • Perform accurate patient registration and verify demographic and insurance information.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to patient questions in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Process medical record requests and support the release of medical information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient information within electronic medical record systems.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical team members to support efficient patient flow.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties to meet the needs of patients, medical staff, and physicians.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that reflects the values of Crossroads Medical Group and LifeBridge Health.
QualificationsExperience
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a healthcare, medical office, or professional office environment preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical office operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
