$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Principal Electrical Engineer - Innovative Medical Device Start-Up - Twin Cities NW Metro - Up to $180K + Equity

In this role, you'll lead the electrical design and development of next-generation medical devices, including capital equipment, disposables, and accessories. You'll work hands-on with custom PCB design, collaborate with a high-performing R&D team, and help bring life-saving technology to market.

In this role, you'll lead the electrical design and development of next-generation medical devices, including capital equipment, disposables, and accessories. You'll work hands-on with custom PCB design, collaborate with a high-performing R&D team, and help bring life-saving technology to market.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in product development (flexible for exceptional candidates)
• Strong experience with custom PCB design using Altium
• Background in medical device capital equipment
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motor control and actuator systems
• Prior start-up experience
• Exposure to analog and digital circuit design
• Passion for building innovative, clinically impactful technology
