Job description

JOB SUMMARY
  • Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Delegates and monitors the work of licensed occupational therapist assistants, technicians, and other support staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Work Experience
  • No previous experience required.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications
  • License to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Texas or eligible for licensure.
  • BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed.
  • Valid Driver's License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy.
  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Input data into computer programs.
