Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The Interior Design Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and execution of interior design projects of varying size and complexity across Hendrick Health facilities under the guidance of the Manager of Interiors. This internship provides exposure to the selection, purchasing, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, as well as insight into interior design support within a healthcare environment. The intern will help support interior design projects by assisting with signage updates, basic color selections, and furniture layouts in public spaces. They will also help organize project information, assist with ordering and tracking materials, support meetings and research tasks, and help with installing artwork and signage as needed. This position is designed to build foundational skills in organization, communication, and design coordination while working as part of a professional interiors team.

Minimum Education

  • Currently in associates or bachelors degree program
