How much do part time cdl trainee jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 12, 2026, the average yearly pay for part time cdl trainee in the United States is $49,953.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $40,000.00 and $58,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What company in Texas is paying truckers $14000 a week?

There are no widely verified companies offering truck drivers or CDL trainees $14,000 per week. Such high earnings are uncommon and may be misleading or associated with specialized or high-risk roles. Most CDL trainee positions offer lower starting pay, with earnings increasing as experience and routes progress.

What is the difference between Part Time Cdl Trainee vs Part Time Truck Driver?

AspectPart Time Cdl TraineePart Time Truck Driver
Required CredentialsLearner's permit or CDL permit, minimal experienceValid CDL license, driving experience
Work EnvironmentTraining sites, supervised drivingOn-road, delivery routes, company facilities
Employer & Industry UsageTraining programs, entry-level positionsPart-time delivery, logistics companies

Part Time Cdl Trainee roles focus on gaining driving skills with minimal experience, often involving supervised training. In contrast, Part Time Truck Drivers have already obtained their CDL license and are responsible for actual deliveries. The trainee position is ideal for beginners, while the driver role is suitable for those with some driving experience seeking part-time work in logistics or transportation.

Can you get a CDL job with no experience?

Part-time CDL trainee positions often do not require prior experience, as they focus on providing training and obtaining a commercial driver's license. Employers typically look for a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check, with training programs covering necessary skills and safety protocols.

What CDL job can I make $3000 a week?

Achieving a weekly income of $3,000 as a CDL trainee is unlikely, as trainees typically earn lower wages. Experienced commercial drivers, such as owner-operators or specialized freight drivers, can reach or exceed this level with high mileage, long-haul routes, and additional incentives, but it generally requires full certification and significant experience. Entry-level positions usually pay less, and high earnings depend on factors like route, load type, and company pay structure.

Does Walmart offer $110,000 salary to new drivers?

Part Time CDL Trainees at Walmart typically do not start with a salary of $110,000; this figure is more common for experienced drivers or those with specialized routes. Entry-level trainees usually earn lower wages during training and initial employment, with potential for increased pay as they gain experience and seniority. Actual salaries depend on location, experience, and the specific driving role.
