Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Everett, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.


Essential Functions:

  • Leads work with internal customers and suppliers to develop and document component and detail design efforts, complex mechanical and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, and thorough documentation within schedule and cost constraints, create design solutions using model-based engineering software and numerical analysis.
  • Leads cross functional technical coordination internally and externally to Boeing with the following, but not limited to manufacturing, Crew-ops, airplane safety, Supply Chain Management, BCA Systems Software, Suppliers, Airline Customers, Regulatory Agencies, and other interfacing teams.
  • Identify problems, perform root cause corrective analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide expeditious support to the Factory and Flight Line to resolve emergent issues.
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Specification Control Documents/Drawings (SCD)
  • Develop requirements and design consideration which best supports program objectives and requirements and impacts on data reliability and integrity, fault trees analysis (FTAs), System Safety Analysis (SSA)
  • Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
  • Identifies problems, performs root cause corrective analysis, and implements corrective actions utilizing the Boeing Problem Solving Methodology (BPSM).
  • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Resolves issues and problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
  • Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical engineering
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Mechanical, Aero or Electrical Engineering Degree- Preferred
