Saatchi & Saatchi currently maintains a hybrid work policy to work in-office (El Segundo, CA) three days per week and remotely the other two days each week.

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative senior-level brand strategist to design and implement comprehensive brand frameworks and strategies. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience, and will excel in brand architecture, and developing cohesive strategies that drive brand equity and business growth.  Deep experience of financial and technology industries is a must.

This role requires a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and collaboration across teams. Travel will be required.

This role is a short term contract (benefits eligible) that is expected to conclude 3/31/26.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Brand Research and Insights:
    • Conduct research to inform strategies.
    • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights that enhance brand differentiation.
  • Brand Architecture Development:
    • Design and maintain brand architecture frameworks that clarify relationships between product lines, services, and the overarching brand.
    • Define sub-brand, master brand, and co-branding strategies as needed.
  • Strategic Brand Frameworks:
    • Develop and document clear brand frameworks, including positioning, voice, personality and messaging guidelines.
    • Craft long-term brand strategies that align with organizational goals and resonate with target audiences.
    • Establish scalable models for aligning brand strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Nomenclature Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a strategic approach to naming products, services, and sub-brands, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall brand.
    • Collaborative Leadership:
    • Work closely with marketing, design, product, and leadership teams to integrate brand strategy into all business functions.
    • Act as a brand advocate, ensuring all communications and materials reflect core brand values and strategy.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Branding, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    • Proven experience in brand strategy, brand architecture, or a related role (10+ years).
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Expertise in creating and managing brand frameworks and guidelines.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

     

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with brand transformation or rebranding initiatives.
    • Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.

    Compensation Range: $235,000 annualized. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
