Job summary:

Project Managers report directly to the PMO Manager and are accountable for overseeing end-to-end delivery of BellatRx projects. They will personally execute full project lifecycles by demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. In addition, senior Project Managers monitor and support team members, and are expected to generate additional revenue streams through up-sell opportunities, add-ons or change requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and execute project plans and schedules against deliverables and milestones. This includes Project Charters, timelines, communication plans, RAID logs, and other best practices.
  • Manage the client relationship throughout the project and regularly issue project updates.
  • Ensure compliance to project schedule and costing while managing & keeping every project's reporting up to date.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to align project requirements with overall strategy and deadlines.
  • Document kick-off meetings, clarify information, and establish scope of work.
  • Review user and functional requirement specifications.
  • Support resource planning for operations.
  • Manage all unique design and project scope changes.
  • Analyze project trends and make recommendations to optimize internal processes based on past performance.
  • Request quotes for up-sell opportunities or add-ons or change requests.
  • When applicable, attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at third-party suppliers.
  • Organize and coordinate in-house Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Attend to customers while they are in town and manage discrepancy list before shipment.
  • Schedule and conduct Site Acceptance Test (SAT) at the client's premises, when applicable.
  • Create and support process improvement plans.
  • Use and regularly update the ERP.
  • Ensure quality assurance is complete before project shipment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

  • Familiarity with all aspects of project management methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communication in English (both written and spoken) and a working knowledge of French.
  • An engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, or electrical) or relevant experience.
  • Membership/certification from the Project Management Institute (an asset)
  • 1-3 (senior PM 5+) years of project management experience (experience in a manufacturing setting an asset).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Project Management software.
  • Ability to travel without restrictions and holds a valid passport and driver's license (occasional travelling may be required).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High empathetic, with the ability to deal with diverse personalities and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines.
  • Knowledge of capital equipment, the packaging industry, and manufacturing lines an asset
  • Knowledge of in process improvement (an asset).
