Cushing Terrell is seeking a Design Professional with 2โ€“5 years of experience to join our integrated architecture and engineering team.
This role is built for emerging architects who want to move beyond redlines and take an active role in shaping design and technical outcomes. Youโ€™ll contribute to exciting, dynamic commercial projects including mission critical and workplace environments where creative thinking and strong technical execution are equally valued.

Working alongside architects and engineers, youโ€™ll help develop design concepts, translate ideas into buildable solutions, and gain hands-on experience across all phases of a project. Weโ€™re looking for someone who brings a high level of creativity, curiosity, and a drive to push ideas further.

At Cushing Terrell, youโ€™ll collaborate across disciplines and offices, take on meaningful responsibility early, and continue building both your design voice and technical expertise.
Position Salary Range*
The expected salary range for this position is $57,000ย to $65,000 annually.ย 
Required Qualifications**ย 
  • NAAB-accredited architecture degree required
  • 3-6 yearsโ€™ experience in architecture
  • A desire to expand the expertise of our team
  • Comfort with collaboration in all aspects of architecture design
  • A passion for knowledge transfer and work sharing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commercial, Food & Beverage or Grocery Experience is a plusย

Position Responsibilities***ย 
  • Be comfortable collaborating in all aspects of architectural design
  • Provide an out-of-this-world experience for our clients that cannot be replicated anywhere else
  • Have knowledge of construction documents ย 
  • Have relevant experience in construction administration
  • Have excellent design skills and strong technical proficiency including experience in working in the following platforms: Autodesk, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Have strong Revit skillsย
