Job description

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for supporting the execution of both hotel and venue operations, ensuring seamless coordination between guestrooms, themed accommodations, bar service, outdoor events, and live entertainment programming.
This role requires a hands-on leader who is present across both daily operations and high-energy event nights. You will help ensure staffing readiness, service flow, guest experience, safety, and operational consistency while also supporting the creative and experiential side of programming.
You will partner closely with the Area General Manager, department leaders, and entertainment collaborators to align operational execution with the property's brand identity-fun, whimsical, welcoming, and well-run. Success in this role requires the ability to balance structure with spontaneity, ensuring that every guest experience feels intentional, seamless, and memorable.
This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments where hospitality, entertainment, design, and social energy intersect.
What You'll Do
  • Support all hotel and outdoor venue operations, ensuring seamless coordination between themed guestrooms, bar service, event spaces, and live entertainment programming.
  • Oversee daily execution of both hospitality and event operations, including setup, service flow, staffing, and breakdown.
  • Help ensure the outdoor venue reflects and extends the playful, whimsical energy of the hotel's themed room experience.
  • Assist in managing labor, scheduling, payroll, and staffing efficiency across hotel and venue teams.
  • Support booking coordination, scheduling, and execution of live music and entertainment programming (experience with talent booking is a strong plus).
  • Work with artists, vendors, and event partners to ensure smooth and engaging guest experiences.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service across both hotel stays and event attendance experiences.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and revenue optimization across all operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members across hospitality and event service roles.
  • Maintain a strong on-the-floor presence during events, weekends, and peak programming periods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, alcohol service regulations, and operational procedures across all spaces.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure consistent communication and execution across all shifts.
  • Address guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism, warmth, and urgency.

Who You Are
  • An experienced hospitality or entertainment leader with a background in hotel operations, events, nightlife, live music, or venue management.
  • Comfortable in high-energy, social environments where hospitality and entertainment overlap.
  • Naturally inclined toward creating fun, engaging, and memorable guest experiences while maintaining operational control.
  • A hands-on operator who is equally comfortable managing spreadsheets and stepping into a busy event night.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-moving environments.
  • Experienced in labor management, scheduling, and operational oversight.
  • Interested in or experienced with live music programming, entertainment coordination, or event production.
  • Calm under pressure and effective in high-volume, high-energy situations.
  • A strong communicator who can work across teams, vendors, artists, and guests.
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality not just as service-but as entertainment and experience creation.
  • A leader who knows how to run operations and also how to "throw a great party."

Why This Is Different
  • A rare opportunity to operate a boutique hotel where themed rooms, storytelling, and entertainment are core to the guest experience.
  • An outdoor venue designed as a natural extension of the hotel's whimsical, playful identity.
  • Direct involvement in shaping both hospitality operations and live event programming.
  • A property where structure and creativity are equally valued.
  • The chance to build memorable guest experiences that blend hotel stays, music, and social energy.
  • A highly visible leadership role with real influence over culture, operations, and experience design.
