Your Role:
MEGASYS® offers specialized services in managing gases, chemicals and slurries, where our technicians and engineers provide critical on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
As the MEGASYS® Operations Manager, you will lead an on-site Megasys® operations team, ensuring that customer service is well-supported and resourced to achieve safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. You will be the primary contact for customers regarding site-wide operational issues.
Your role includes developing and driving team goals and objectives, building a team of leaders, and enhancing site safety and quality by addressing departmental issues. You will maintain strong customer relationships through daily communication, anticipating needs, and fulfilling commitments. This position requires collaboration with various internal and external departments, including Quality, EH&S, Human Resources, Engineering, and Commercial.
You will oversee a multi-functional operation, necessitating a solid understanding of gas and chemical delivery systems for effective technical communication with customers and support departments. Key responsibilities include managing process safety, system design and modifications, factory innovation support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Administrative duties will encompass employee development and performance reviews, technical writing and reporting, key performance analysis, process safety reporting, management of change (MOC) reviews and approvals, and overseeing in-house quality systems and audits.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other sites, participate in off-site meetings, and engage in occasional travel for training and strategic initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our operations and enhancing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality by sharing relevant data with the team and customers, driving improvements in operational practices, and managing any changes to operational agreements.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient resource allocation to meet operational demands, while delegating tasks effectively and setting clear expectations for team members.
  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations while managing escalations and addressing business issues.
  • Foster a positive team environment through open communication, collaboration, and professional growth, while identifying training needs and providing support for team members.
  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the team, cascading goals and objectives to the team to successfully drive initiatives that align with organizational priorities and enhance overall performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and collaborating on operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess site performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Assessing and analyzing departmental budget to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

Schedule:
The Manager's base schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate should expect to respond to off-hour calls as needed, spend time with night-shift teams, and periodically check in with teams during weekends.
Physical Attributes:
  • 75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-6 miles per day).
  • Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection).
  • Basic lifting (up to 40lbs).
  • Bending of the knees and overhead reaching.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS degree in engineering, chemical science discipline or related area of study and 5+ year of work-related experience
  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Direct semiconductor experience
  • Experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified in OSHA10 or OSHA30
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
  • 10+ years industrial / semiconductor experience
  • Continuous improvement experience

Pay range for this position: $125,00 - $180,000
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
