Job description

Warehouse Operations Manager
Leadership Operations Excellence Team Accountability

Join Chariot and Lead the Backbone of a High-Performance Operation
At Chariot, our warehouse is more than a place products move through, it is the operational heartbeat of our business. From inventory accuracy and delivery execution to team accountability and customer support, the warehouse directly impacts the experience we deliver every single day.

We're looking for a strong, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager who is ready to lead people, strengthen systems, improve operational flow, and bring consistency and accountability to a fast-moving environment.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain operations. We're looking for someone who can elevate them.

This Role Is Operational Leadership
As our Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily execution, organization, personnel management, and operational efficiency of our warehouse and delivery functions. You'll lead from the floor, coach your team, solve problems quickly, and continuously improve the systems that keep the business moving.

You'll work closely with leadership while also having the autonomy and ownership to make operational improvements, enforce standards, and help build scalable processes that support company growth.

This role is ideal for someone who:
thrives in fast-paced environments
enjoys creating structure and accountability
can confidently lead difficult conversations
knows how to balance urgency, efficiency, and professionalism
takes pride in running a clean, organized, high-performing operation

Why You'll Thrive Here
Ownership & Operational Impact
Your decisions directly affect inventory accuracy, fulfillment flow, team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role has real influence and visibility within the company.

Leadership With Authority
We're looking for a leader who is comfortable setting expectations, holding people accountable, coaching team members, and improving performance standards.

Build Better Systems
You'll have the opportunity to strengthen warehouse organization, improve workflows, streamline processes, and help scale operations as the company continues to grow.

A Fast-Moving, Team-Oriented Environment
No two days look exactly the same. You'll collaborate closely with sales, purchasing, and leadership teams to keep operations moving smoothly.

Stability & Consistency
Monday-Friday schedule, strong leadership support, clear expectations, and a company that values professionalism, follow-through, and operational excellence.

You'll Love This Role If You...

  • Are a confident, grounded leader who leads by example
  • Enjoy building structure where others see chaos
  • Naturally hold high standards for organization, efficiency, and accountability
  • Can coach employees while still enforcing expectations
  • Stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly
  • Take ownership instead of waiting for direction
  • Enjoy improving systems, processes, and workflow execution
  • Want to make a meaningful operational impact within a growing company

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train, supervise, and develop a warehouse team of 7-10 employees
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, workflow, and personnel performance
  • Establish and maintain operational standards and accountability
  • Improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and fulfillment processes
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory control procedures
  • Maintain clean warehouse systems, bin locations, and product organization
  • Coordinate and oversee delivery flow, loading, unloading, and logistics
  • Monitor operational performance and proactively address inefficiencies
  • Conduct coaching conversations and address performance concerns when needed
  • Ensure all warehouse safety procedures and expectations are followed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, and leadership teams
  • Help build scalable systems that support company growth and operational consistency

What You Bring

  • Proven warehouse management or operations leadership experience
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable
  • Experience managing warehouse personnel, workflow, and operational priorities
  • Strong organizational, inventory, and logistics management skills
  • Experience with warehouse systems or ERP software (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A process-driven, solution-oriented mindset
  • Confidence making operational decisions and solving problems independently
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Alignment with Chariot's standards, culture, and commitment to operational excellence

Perks & Benefits

  • Monthly health insurance stipend (with professional guidance)
  • $50K life insurance policy included
  • Paid holidays and PTO
  • Audible subscription for personal growth
  • Employee discounts and referral bonuses
  • A genuine, high-performance culture that values teamwork, accountability, and growth
  • And yes - some pretty great company parties too

The Details
Full-time | Monday-Friday | On-site in Salt Lake City, UT
Compensation: $65,000-$90,000 salary (depending on experience)
*Pre-employment drug and background screening required

No late nights. Just meaningful work, operational ownership, and the opportunity to lead a team that directly impacts the success of the business.

If you're a strong operational leader who takes pride in building efficient systems, developing people, and owning results, we'd love to hear from you.
