Position Summary...We are seeking a Senior Manager, Tech Enablement & Tech Operations to serve as the strategic and operational bridge between business teams and technology delivery for our transportation management and AI-enabled capabilities. This role will lead enablement and operational support for STRIDE TMS development and AI development initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical fluency, system integration experience, and business partnership leadership, enabling fast, reliable execution across a complex ecosystem of internal systems, vendors, and engineering teams.

  • TMS Development Enablement & Representing On-The-Ground Operators 
  • Act as the primary business-facing technology partner for STRIDE TMS, translating operational needs into clear technical priorities and execution plans. 
  • Support ongoing development, enhancement, and stabilization of STRIDE TMS, including feature design intake, backlog shaping, release readiness, and post-release adoption. 
  • Coordinate across product, engineering, vendors, and operations to ensure on-time delivery, system reliability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Establish governance, documentation, and operational processes to support long-term maintainability and scalability of the TMS platform. 
  • AI Development Enablement & Support 
  • Enable AI development initiatives by connecting business use cases (forecasting, optimization, automation, decision support, etc.) to engineering and data teams. 
  • Partner with AI and data engineering teams to define requirements, data dependencies, integration points, and success metrics. 
  • Support responsible AI development by helping operationalize model lifecycle management, monitoring, validation, and adoption across business workflows. 
  • Drive alignment between AI solutions and existing enterprise systems to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration. 
  • Business & Systems Integration Leadership 
  • Serve as a cross-system integrator, connecting STRIDE TMS, AI platforms, ERP, planning systems, data platforms, and downstream operational tools. 
  • Ensure business processes are designed holistically across systems, avoiding fragmentation and rework. 
  • Lead cross-functional forums to align stakeholders on roadmap priorities, dependencies, trade-offs, and execution plans. 
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives for senior leaders and operational teams. 
  • Build and own operational rhythms for tech enablement, including intake, prioritization, dependency management, risk escalation, and metrics tracking. 
  • Define and track KPIs related to system performance, delivery velocity, adoption, and business impact. 
  • Support change management, training, and readiness activities to ensure smooth rollout of new capabilities. 
  • Identify operational gaps and proactively recommend process, tooling, or architectural improvements. 
  • Tech Operations & Enablement 
What you'll bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in technology enablement, tech operations, product operations, or systems integration roles. 
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise platforms, preferably Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or large-scale supply chain systems. 
  • Proven ability to function as a business-to-technology translator, connecting operational needs with technical execution. 
  • Experience working closely with engineering, product, and data/AI teams in an agile or hybrid development environment. 
  • Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and dependencies across complex tech stacks. 
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. 
  • Direct experience with TMS platforms (custom or commercial) and transportation or logistics operations. 
  • Exposure to AI / ML development lifecycles, including use case framing, data readiness, and model operationalization. 
  • Experience enabling or supporting AI-powered decision support or optimization tools within enterprise environments. 
  • Prior people management or strong matrix leadership experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
