Design and Customer Service Manager

Wage: $22–$25 DOE
Location: Bend, Oregon
Schedule: Full-time 

Overview:

If you’re a creative problem‑solver who enjoys hands‑on work, fast‑paced days, and direct customer interaction, this role blends design, customer service, and shop support in a way that keeps every day interesting. As the Design & Customer Service Manager, you’ll work closely with the owner and team to bring customer ideas to life, from concept to finished product, while helping keep the shop running smoothly.

This is a great fit for someone who’s dependable, confident, and comfortable in a friendly, no‑nonsense, auto‑shop‑style environment. You’ll be the person customers meet first, the one who helps translate ideas into designs, and the one who keeps projects moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the owner and team with daily shop operations

  • Create and edit designs using industry‑standard software

  • Handle customer service needs: phones, walk‑ins, quotes, and project updates

  • Assist with print production, signage prep, and hands‑on shop tasks

  • Operate digital printers and related equipment

  • Manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Take initiative, troubleshoot issues, and keep work moving

  • Step into additional tasks as needed, this role requires wearing multiple hats
