Job description

Commissioning & Energy Project Manager

Colliers Project Leaders is currently looking for a Commissioning & Energy Project Manager to join our team in Madison, CT.

We deliver real energy savings in buildings, spaces, and systems that perform optimally and maximize comfort and safety.

Our team includes engineers, controls experts, and sustainability professionals. We are national leaders and industry authorities whose proactive, hands-on approach delivers real results. Our unique dual perspective sets us apart, technical expertise to evaluate, understand, and critique systems design and the operational knowledge to maximize systems and equipment performance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Cx/EBCx services through all phases (design, construction, and post-occupancy; planning, investigation, implementation, turnover, and persistence).
  • Manage projects to completion, on-time, within budget, and within scope of work and are able to independently produce reports, summaries, and briefings.
  • Effectively lead communications within a project team and successfully manage multiple clients at once.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Facilities Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read/understand technical materials (i.e. drawings, specs, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills, planning and organizing, decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), facilitation, and team work capabilities.
  • Knowledge of New England area.
  • EIT or PE preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
