What You'll Do as a Design Engineer

  • Design custom 3D models and detailed 2D production drawings in SolidWorks for commercial, industrial, and agricultural steel fabrication projects.
  • Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation to support efficient manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with our fabrication team to develop practical, manufacturable designs that balance quality, functionality, and cost.
  • Analyze design concepts, troubleshoot engineering challenges, and recommend improvements that enhance production efficiency and product performance.
  • Mentor teammates by sharing SolidWorks knowledge, providing training, and helping others strengthen their CAD design skills.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve our products and engineering processes continuously.
  • Partner with manufacturing personnel to resolve design-related issues and ensure projects move smoothly from engineering to production.
