The CTC Engineering Division specializes in transforming cutting-edge technologies into real-world solutions. We harness the power of 3D printing, advanced joining techniques like friction stir welding, and cutting-edge design tools to tackle complex challenges for a diverse set of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform product design and analysis in support of manufacturing process development and R&D initiatives.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, primarily Creo, to create and modify complex mechanical designs.
  • Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools like ANSYS or ABAQUS to validate and optimize designs for performance and manufacturability.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support for prototype development, testing, evaluation, and final implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain precise technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.
  • Support a diverse portfolio of projects involving aircraft, vehicles, armaments, advanced materials, and custom manufacturing equipment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, materials, industrial or aerospace engineering with a minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software such as Creo, Solidworks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, equipment development, and prototyping.
  • Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support project needs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • The position requires a high degree of technical competence regarding the broad application of engineering principles to the development of new capabilities and/or solutions to customers' challenging problems, while working with an experienced engineering team.
  • Work experience in the USG Defense or commercial manufacturing industries is preferred.
