Job description

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support development and production of a missile system.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Mechanical Engineering Designer Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Integrated Product Team in creating detailed designs, layouts, and drawings for various components and subassemblies. You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles
Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM
Coordinating the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, optics, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence
Managing drawing releases, responding to CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews
Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, performance, and structural/thermal benefits
