In the Sweet Retreat we will be selling the famous BYU Creamery Ice Cream. If you enjoy working with other energetic team members and like the thought of making people happy as you sell them treats this is the job for you!

The Deseret Book Store in Salt Lake City, Utah is excited to announce an opening for associates in the Sweet Retreat - featuring BYU Creamery Ice Cream! We are looking for candidates who will:

  • Cheerfully and eagerly assist customers
  • Monitor food supplies in a timely manner
  • Keep the Sweet Retreat clean and organized
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence

**This position requires flexible availability on days, evenings, and Saturdays**

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis is an essential function of this position
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Basic cashiering skills
  • Basic janitorial duties
  • Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
  • Food handler's permit required or ability to acquire one
