Position Overview 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving audience growth, brand performance, and platform engagement for their assigned KSL business unit. Serving as the primary marketing lead for the business, this role develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that support business objectives, increase audience engagement, and drive measurable growth across a variety of marketing channels. 

Responsibilities include developing marketing plans and overseeing execution across paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, app marketing, email, on-site promotional placements, traditional advertising, partnerships, events, and other owned and paid channels. The Marketing Manager uses data, audience insights, and performance reporting to evaluate marketing effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and make strategic recommendations to influence business decisions and improve results. 

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role is a key member of the marketing team and collaborates closely with product managers, business directors, sales leaders, analysts, social media and creative teams to develop and execute high-impact campaigns on behalf of their assigned business unit. 

Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion. 

  • This position is a hybrid role that requires the employee to sometimes work at our office in downtown SLC. Specific hybrid schedules will be determined based on business needs and evaluated by managers and senior management. Employee will need to be on-site during the training period. 

What You Will Do: 

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Serve as the primary marketing lead for an assigned KSL business vertical, developing and executing marketing strategies that support business objectives and audience growth.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific marketing plans designed to drive audience acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Manage the execution, testing, and optimization of marketing initiatives across a variety of channels, including paid media, SEO, email, push notifications, on-site promotions, partnerships, events, traditional advertising, and emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Analyze marketing, audience, and business performance data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly communicate marketing performance, insights, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business directors, sales leaders, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business goals and priorities.
  • Partner with internal creative, social media, and community relations teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement opportunities that support business objectives and strengthen KSL's brand presence.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and emerging marketing technologies, applying insights to improve marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Represent the marketing team in cross-functional meetings, strategic planning discussions, and stakeholder presentations.

    Skills and Experience We Are Looking For: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
    • 3+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, growth marketing, or audience development. 
    • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business results. 
    • Meaningful hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas, with experience across multiple areas preferred: Paid media (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic advertising, etc.) 
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
    • Marketing automation and lifecycle marketing (email, push notifications, customer journeys, etc.) 
    • Audience growth and engagement strategies 
    • Content marketing and on-site promotional strategies
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, measure performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. 
    • Experience using analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools. 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 
    • Experience presenting recommendations, insights, and performance results to stakeholders and leadership teams. 
    • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. 
    • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while taking ownership of projects and results. 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    Experience managing paid media campaigns, optimization, and budgets  Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar tools.  Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or similar SEO platforms.  Experience conducting A/B testing and experimentation programs. 

    Physical Demands 

    • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. 
    • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. 
    • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. 
    • Lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds on occasion 

    Compensation 

    $65,000 - $85,000. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
