Our Business Services Value Stream iscomprisedof several individual Value Teams that collectively deliver the outcomes needed to our Business Services team. The individual Value Teams will becomprisedof all the resources, skills and capabilitiesrequiredto plan, code/configure, build, test, release, deploy,operate, and monitor our solutions.

As a Principal Solution Consultant - Derivatives & Collateral, you will be arecognizedsubject-matter expert within Investment Operations, responsible for shaping, designing, and delivering complex, high-impact solutions across derivatives and collateral domains. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, and take end-to-end ownership of complex solution initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Own and lead end-to-end solution design and delivery for complex derivatives and collateral solutions, covering both OTC and listed derivatives.

  • Analyzecomplex functional and operational requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solution designs.

  • Contribute to solution strategy discussions, influencing decisions with strong functional and operational insight.

  • Support escalations and resolve high-complexity issues involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Ensure solution designs align with established frameworks, operational standards, and long-term maintainability.

  • Identify gaps in standards or patterns and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Mentor and support Senior and Lead Solution Consultants, raising overall team capability within the value stream.

  • Champion and embed new ways of working as part ofSimCorp'songoing business transformation.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Hands-on experience in derivatives and collateral within asset management, asset servicing, or a financial technology environment.

  • Deep functional expertise in derivatives operations (OTC and/or listed) and collateral management.

  • Proven track record of leading complex solution designs or deliveries from end to end.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and business audiences.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard platforms such asTriOptima,MarkitWire, Acadia,FXAll, or Cassini.

  • Commitment tostandardization, best practices, and long-term solution quality.

  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP) and direct project management experience.

This is an active, existing vacancy. The salary range for this position is 128 720 -178,000CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications.
