Civil Litigation Attorney (Hybrid) โ€“ Catastrophic Injury & Complex Defense

Take the lead on high-exposure litigation with a respected California litigation practice. An established and growing California litigation firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Southern California. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated litigation, wants meaningful responsibility, and is looking to gain substantial deposition and trial experience in a collaborative environment. You'll work on high-value, complex civil litigation matters while receiving the support and mentorship needed to continue advancing your career.

What You'll Handle
  • Catastrophic personal injury litigation
  • Construction defect litigation
  • Complex insurance defense matters
  • Court appearances and case management
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
  • Working directly with clients, insurance carriers, and expert witnesses
  • Site inspections and case strategy
  • Comprehensive trial preparation
  • Opportunities for first- and second-chair trial experience
What We're Looking For
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 5+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Insurance defense experience preferred
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Comfortable managing cases independently while collaborating with a team
  • Excellent client communication and case management abilities
  • Willingness to travel for depositions and court appearances throughout Southern California, with occasional travel to Central and Northern California
