OVERVIEW:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school while ensuring a safe, well-organized, and supportive environment for students and staff. This role includes administrative and operational services as well as providing basic first aid treatment and health support to students in accordance with school policies and local regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of all applicable state and federal laws governing the privacy of records.
  • Coordinate schedules, transportation, supplies, and school logistics.
  • Provide immediate first aid treatment to students for minor injuries or illnesses.
  • Monitor student health concerns and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Maintain and manage first aid supplies and medical records.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health incidents as required.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with school health, safety, and child protection policies.
  • Support leadership with operational reports and data.
  • Process and deposit all incoming funds through on-line banking.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Experience working in a school or non-profit organization.
  • Training in basic child health care or school health services.
  • Knowledge of local health, safety, and education regulations.
  • Student-focused and safety-oriented mindset.
  • High level of responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations, education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in school operations, administration, or management.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
