Job description

We import and distribute high quality meats to Food Service and Retail Operators. We are committed to delivering to our customers at a high level of standard and consistency. We seek individuals that are highly motivated, dependable, results oriented and operate with a high level of responsibility and integrity. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Training and education on procedural and systems requirements will be provided, but the individual will be responsible for the retention and compliance to perform essential functions. Other duties may be assigned. The essential functions include: • Adhere to all food safety defense and compliance requirements • Ability to distinguish anatomy, muscle meats, product knowledge • Precision cutting/portioning by weight according to company or customer specification • Able to participate and follow Production procedures and disciplines within critical timelines • Operate within established HACCP guidelines • Operate within established SSOP guidelines • Operate within established GMP guidelines • Maintain Production Logs as required • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper working condition • Packaging and labeling of finished food products • Ensure proper security of meat and by-products • Ensure accuracy of all production orders • Attend and participate in Employee Safety Meetings • Other duties as required
