Food Service Worker
Location: Seymour Public Schools (Chatfield-LoPresti School)

Position Summary:
Seymour Public Schools is seeking reliable and dependable Food Service Workers to assist with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of school meals. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cafeteria staff to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming dining environment for students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred, or willingness to obtain training if required.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • School year position
  • Hours vary by assignment and district needs.
