Overview:

CPMC, LLC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic programs for an active government contract proposal with the Department of Navy. This role involves overseeing major program initiatives, ensuring successful planning, direction, and execution aligned with the Department's needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and ensure the success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research/technology initiatives of significant importance to the activity and agency.
  • Oversee large, multiyear programs divided into various subprograms/tasks.
  • Define, organize, and direct short and longrange program plans.
  • Formulate and guide the technical approach, negotiating with agency personnel for necessary resources.
  • Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to contractors at junior and midlevel while managing contractor performance.
  • Demonstrate supervisory experience, particularly in Navy project management.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or financialrelated field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to the labor category.
  • Proficient skills in performing complex tasks independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing contractor performance and Navy project management.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
