An Ingalls First-Class Electrician also called a Electrical Journeyman, is responsible for the layout, installation and repair of shipboard cables, lighting, and electronic equipment, as well as the ships power. Electricians utilize an assortment of hand and power tools, a variety of test equipment along with a working knowledge of blue prints, drawings and schematics.
