What is a dental program director?

Dental Program Directors are professionals responsible for overseeing and managing dental education programs, such as those found in universities or teaching hospitals. They develop curricula, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, mentor faculty and students, and coordinate clinical and didactic training. Their role involves strategic planning, budgeting, and liaising with regulatory bodies to maintain program quality.
