About the Role:
Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Financial Coordinator to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ. In this key front-office role, you'll be the bridge between our patients and their financial peace of mind — helping them navigate treatment costs, insurance, and payment options with confidence and care.

Responsibilities:
  • Present and explain treatment plans and associated costs to patients in a clear and compassionate manner
  • Verify dental insurance benefits, eligibility, and coverage prior to appointments
  • Process and submit dental insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
  • Manage patient billing, collections, and account reconciliation
  • Coordinate payment arrangements and discuss financing options with patients
  • Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately to accounts
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials and discrepancies
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in dental billing, dental front office, or a dental financial coordinator role preferred
  • Working knowledge of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and EOBs
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of patient collections and accounts receivable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual skills a plus but not required
