Your Role as a Dental Treatment Coordinator:

  • Collaborate closely with dentists and specialists to present detailed and personalized treatment plans to patients clearly and compassionately
  • Verify and clearly explain patient benefits, insurance details, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements to facilitate informed patient decisions
  • Efficiently schedule treatment appointments and coordinate follow-ups to maintain continuous patient care
  • Consistently follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and encourage timely completion of recommended procedures
  • Manage treatment-related documentation, including consent forms, policy agreements, financial arrangements, and ensure compliance with privacy standards
  • Act as a trusted resource for patient inquiries, fostering patient comfort and satisfaction
  • Work proactively with front desk and clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow and communication between departments

Qualifications We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a dental treatment coordinator or related role (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical dental experience preferred (dental assisting, patient coordination, front-office experience)
  • Familiarity with dental software (Denticon or similar preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental coding (ADA), PPO, HMO, DMO, Medicaid, and Indemnity insurance plans
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently, maintain professionalism under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines
