Selective Demolition Crew Lead
Demolition Magicians – Central Kentucky

Demolition Magicians is redefining the demolition industry — one project at a time.
We are a fast-growing, system-driven demolition company specializing in selective interior demolition, structural demolition, and specialty projects. Our foundation is built on four core principles:

We are looking for a Selective Demolition Crew Lead to lead job sites, manage crews, and uphold our standards of professionalism and execution.
Position Overview
The Selective Demolition Crew Lead is responsible for:
  • Leading a demolition crew on residential and commercial job sites
  • Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Acting as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers and clients
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and professional job sites
  • Enforcing company systems and safety procedures
This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and sets the standard on site.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Crew Management
  • Lead and manage a crew of 2–10 team members
  • Delegate daily tasks and maintain production pace
  • Hold team members accountable to safety and quality standards
  • Conduct daily job site briefings
Project Execution
  • Perform hands-on selective demolition work
  • Set up and break down job sites properly
  • Ensure protection of adjacent finishes and structures
  • Coordinate waste removal and material recycling when applicable
  • Complete projects according to scope, drawings, and schedule
Communication & Documentation
  • Communicate with Project Manager throughout the day
  • Provide progress updates and flag issues early
  • Take before, during, and after photos
  • Complete daily reports and timecards accurately
Safety & Equipment
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
  • Inspect tools and equipment before use
  • Maintain company trucks and equipment
  • Ensure all PPE is worn and safety protocols followed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years construction or demolition experience
  • 1+ year leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of selective demolition methods
  • Ability to read basic construction drawings
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
  • Ability to operate skid steers, mini excavators, and other equipment (preferred)
  • Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working in demanding environments
