Join Our Team
We are seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Repair Technician to join our growing property management company. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving problems, and are committed to providing excellent service to residents and property owners, we'd like to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, and general carpentry.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Perform apartment turnovers, including repairs and preparation for new residents.
• Complete preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and applicable safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and office staff.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance, as required.
Qualifications
• Experience in residential or commercial maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
Any mixture of the following skills:
1. Excellent time management skills with ability to work efficiently with little supervision.
2. Appliance removal and installation
3. Flooring removal, repair, and installation.
4. Drywall demolition, installation, repair, patching and finishing.
5. Basic Plumbing knowledge-(can you replace toilet valves and garbage disposals?)
a. Experience in water heater replacement a plus-
6. Basic Electrical understanding-
a. Can you replace a light switches and power outlets?
7. Roof installation and repair
8. Fence installation and repair
9. Flat work or concrete demolition and repairs
10. Carpet cleaning experience
