CuraCor Solutions is seeking a Principal Strategic Advisor with deep expertise in provider-side strategy and care delivery transformation to join our growing Care Delivery Services team. In this role, you will help drive health care innovation by shaping implementation-ready provider strategies, informed by rigorous market intelligence and advanced data insights, that accelerate our care delivery vision. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will lead and collaborate across the organization to translate complex market dynamics, analytically derived insights, and operational realities into clear, actionable strategic recommendations across near-, mid-, and long-term horizons. The ideal candidate is a relationship oriented strategic leader and critical thinker with an agile mindset - comfortable challenging assumptions, navigating ambiguity, and operating at the intersection of strategy and execution in an evolving payvider environment.
About The Care Delivery Services Team:
Within our Diversified Business Group, the Care Delivery Services team leads strategy co development, execution support, and alliance management for CuraCor Solutions' care delivery assets, including FastMed and Alo | Avance Care. The team was established to help expand consumer access to affordable, high-quality care, improve the end-to-end consumer experience by reducing friction across the care journey, and support the long-term financial sustainability of the Enterprise.
As a Principal Strategic Advisor, you will play a key role in enabling the strategic development and success of these care delivery platforms - partnering with leaders to inform direction, translate strategy into implementation-ready frameworks, and drive performance at multiple levels.

What You'll Do

  • Drive development of near to midterm strategy (1-3 years) for CuraCor's care delivery assets, partnering closely with longterm strategy teams to codevelop and ensure alignment with enterprisewide 5+ year strategic visions.

  • Develop asset-level care delivery strategies for FastMed and Alo | Avance Care that translate market insights, performance trends, and competitive dynamics into clear strategic direction and implementationready roadmaps.

  • Shape strategies for adding, scaling, and optimizing high-margin services and service lines within existing provider platforms to drive near-to-mid-term growth and support long-term value creation.

  • Guide strategies to maximize service line economics, leveraging operational and commercial levers across areas such as revenue cycle management (RCM), cost structure, throughput, pricing, and demand generation.

  • Design and advance crossenterprise strategies that align CuraCor's care delivery assets with Blue Cross NC to drive collective value, accelerate the payvider vision, and support enterprisewide growth and innovation.

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders across CuraCor, our care delivery assets, and Blue Cross NC - facilitating alignment, shaping priorities, and guiding complex, multistakeholder strategy development efforts.

  • Proactively deliver rigorous market and competitive intelligence, staying current on industry trends, care delivery innovation, and evolving payerprovider models to inform assets' strategy and competitive advantage.

  • Guide analytical focus and synthesize insights from financial, operational, payer, and market data, translating analytically derived findings into clear narratives, scenarios, and decision frameworks that inform executive-level strategy discussions and decision-making.

  • Develop implementationready strategic recommendations that bridge strategy and execution, ensuring clarity on strategic intent, tradeoffs, and paths to impact without owning daytoday operations.

  • Partner with long-term strategy and corporate development teams to provide strategic input on the value of additional care delivery partnerships and transactions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 8+ years of experience in related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience (8+ year) developing implementationready, providerside strategies across health systems and ambulatory care settings, including adding and scaling highmargin services and service lines and developing strategies to support and maximize service line economics through levers such as RCM, pricing, cost structure, and demand generation.

  • Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience in business case development and modeling to inform executive decisionmaking related to growth, profitability, and investment prioritization.

  • Comfort working with complex financial, operational, payer, and market data, with the ability to guide analytical focus and interpret outputs from analytics tools and teams (hands-on execution not required).

  • Strong communication and executive presence, with experience developing clear, compelling materials (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) and narratives to support senior-level strategy discussions and alignment.

    Salary Range

    At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
