Full-time

Job description

HawkEye 360 is currently seeking a Director of mission demand generation to make HE360 capabilities indispensable to critical end-user groups. HawkEye's constellation and products continue to advance at a rapid rate. But unclassified space RF capabilities are still a relatively new phenomenon for many USG users. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing the end-user demand generation campaign with a current main effort of INDOPACOM and subordinate components. The Director will report to the General Manager, Intelligence Community, and interface with technical and business leads across the company. You'll have access to an industry leading constellation, technical support team, and programs/contracts to enable you as the "tip of the spear"/"rubber meets the road"/"boots on the ground." We are looking for a candidate with the mid to senior level contacts to open doors, but who is still a "doer" who wants to roll up their sleeves and immerse themselves in end-user workflows. You'll be given significant autonomy in planning and execution to achieve your objectives, and in return we'll expect you to own demand generation outcomes.
Location: On-site in Herndon, VA
Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Plan and execute capability adoption campaigns that result in renewal of existing programs and Requirements that drive new acquisitions, with the goal of making HE360 capabilities indispensable to critical USG missions.
  • Build targeted classified and unclassified presentations specifically tailored to persuade target audiences, including demonstrating the specific application of HE360 capabilities directly in user workflows.
  • Identify and assess partnership opportunities with companies with complementary capabilities.
  • Identify and lead pursuit of new contract vehicles that enable expansion of end-user support.
  • Opportunistically identify new funding sources that can be leveraged to maximize HE360 support to critical missions.
  • Immerse yourself in HE360 data, contributing actionable feedback to the engineering, product, and solution teams.
  • Work hand in hand with your assigned solutions lead to develop compelling mission solutions.
  • Work with program managers to vector end-user Requirements to existing IC and DoD contract vehicles for acquisition.
  • Work with program managers to execute demand generation, end-user training, and workflow integration initiatives in support of "keep sold" efforts.

Your skills and qualifications:Essential education and experience:
  • Network of contacts in INDOPACOM, associated service components, or IC entities providing direct support to INDOPACOM mission needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher and at least 10 years of combined USG operational or programmatic experience applying RF to meet mission needs. Exceptional experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Understanding of USG analysis tools, databases, and Requirements frameworks.
  • Willingness to learn new software tools to access, manipulate, and convey HE360 data in end-user workflows.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 33%, with remaining time split between our Springpark facility and a secure facility in Herndon, VA.
  • Experience in applying low earth orbit sensing systems to meet Department of Defense of Intelligence Community mission needs.
  • A desire to learn and apply-hands on-the intricacies and nuances of a complex RF sensing system to meet mission needs.
  • Critical thinking and clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Grounding in basic radio frequency principals.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Desirable:
  • Experience in securing and growing firm fixed-price government contracts.
  • Knowledge of USG RF collection systems.
  • An established network within theater Special Operations Commands
  • Experience and an established network within USG organizations focused on building partner capacity or multi-national liaison.

We offer a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations.
