Solutions Delivery Engineer

Salary Range: In the NJ we offer USD $140,000 to $175,000 salary depending on experience. In addition we offer stock options, medical, dental, vision, life, 401k contributing, FSA, HSA, flexible vacation, commute reimbursement etc.

Location: Hybrid - New Jersey based - travel to Middletown NJ location 4 days a week.

The Role

In this role, you will report to the Delivery Director of Americas under America's sales team and provide consulting network solutions to clients. You will be ready to face challenges with creativity, think outside the box, generate new ideas, and be flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Responsibilities include:

Consult with clients and provide network solutions

· Work effectively within a network environment and requirements.

· Design and showcase new or better high- and low-level architectural designs for network-based features or implementations.

· Acts as the subject matter expert within a specific discipline

· Configuration and troubleshooting Routers, Switches, and Firewalls, including Drivenets products

· Create the Migration plan, designing and managing the activity

· Take ownership of the problem, follow-up until it resolved & create an incident report for the same

· Organize training to provide sufficient manpower to the client

· Demonstrate proof of concept to the customer

· Perform automated tasks using basic Python/bash scripts for repetitive activities

· Effectively work with the sales teams and other groups within Drivenets as needed.



Requirements:

Key Requirements:

Deep knowledge of Routing & Switching, with proven experience in Service Provider or large, complex enterprise networks — including post-delivery implementation for service providers, MSOs, or cloud content providers.

Education (one required): Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, or a Diploma in Computer Engineering.

Certifications (one required): CCNP-RS/JNCIP-ENT, CCNP-SP/JNCIP-SP, CCIE-RS(ENT)/JNCIE-ENT, CCIE-SP/JNCIE-SP, or ITILv3 Foundation — equivalent hands-on experience accepted.

Core competencies:

  • Professional Services: Migration Planning, PoC Demonstration, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Training.
  • Architectures: High/Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD), Disaggregated Networking, Cloud-Native, Service Provider/MSO Networks.
  • Routing & Switching: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, Segment Routing (SR/SR-TE), RSVP-TE, LDP, L2/L3VPN, IPv4/IPv6 (Dual-Stack).
  • Automation & Management: Python, Bash, gNMI/gRPC, SNMP, NetFlow, TACACS.
  • Cloud & Virtualization: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, KVM, Linux, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware (ESXi).
