Job description

Duties * Serves as senior manpower specialist, authoritative technical expert and team lead for the Defense Health Agency Manpower and Organization (M and O) Division. * Maintains manpower and organizational changes to the Defense Health Agency Manpower Requirements Tool, Defense Medical Human Resources System-internet (DMHRS-i), as well as local manpower documents. * Administers and coordinates manpower (military, civilian, and contractor) related programmatic initiatives, such as manpower reductions (as directed by higher authority) in conjunction with the DHA senior staff. * Prepares justification and forwards changes, corrections, and/or revisions to the manpower system through appropriate channels. * Develops a fully coordinated position for all manpower issues falling within assigned area by providing validated information. Requirements Conditions of employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
