Reporting directly to the Global Subsea Services Sales and Commercial Director, the "Subsea Services & Strategic Initiatives Technical Sales Team" provide solutions to our Customers & Partners around the globe, supporting our regions to develop and sell innovative solutions. Our technologies are designed to provide reliability, flexibility, and quality, while addressing the complexities of the subsea environment. Our Subsea Systems and Services cover a range of applications across varying pressure, temperature, and water depth requirements.

Fueling Your Passion

Focused on growing the business with our customers and creating sustainable value for Baker Hughes, the Subsea Senior Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for leading globally the growth of Baker Hughes orders volume in the Well Access/Well Interventions space (both riser-based and riser-less), Decommissioning and Subsea Services Strategic Initiatives while driving sales intensity with our customers through early engagement and continuous technical and sales support to create innovative solutions that build value for them.

As a Senior Technical Sales Advisor - Subsea Intervention & Services Strategic Initiatives, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing customer relationship, generate sales leads and pursue sales opportunities in the intervention, decommissioning and strategic initiative space.
  • Partnering with Regional Sales Leaders, Commercial Leader and Technical Leader to grow the subsea services business and deliver competitive solutions to Baker Hughes subsea services customers mainly in the well intervention and strategic initiative space driving profitable growth within the segment.
  • Leading the strategy on key Light Well Intervention, Fluid Intervention & Strategic Initiatives deals from early engagement through to award, developing service solutions which leverage a wide range of Baker Hughes product lines and work with our vessel partners to provide innovative commercial solutions for our customers.
  • Understanding Customer drivers and tender requirements and translating these into actionable and winning opportunity strategies.
  • Generating sales leads, call for a purse no purse, deal strategy working very closely to the commercial and the engineering team.
  • Supporting successful projects into execution providing sales support and variation management to maximize project potentials.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business or other technical or business-related field or proven experience in sales and operations. (ideally more than 10 years)
  • Have 10+ years prior experience in the O&G/Subsea industry with preference towards operational and sales in a solution-oriented organization in the subsea oilfield services intervention and decommissioning area.
  • Have strong business acumen and demonstrable track record in developing deal strategies based on customers' needs.
  • Have ability to mobilize, influence and lead cross functional teams to execute a complex pursuit strategy.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, including strong ability to present clearly to Senior Leaders.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have availability to travel globally (> 60%)

  • Have working and operational knowledge of Well Access systems their purpose and characteristics
  • Have knowledge of Intervention vessels and contracting strategies
