Job Description

The Junior Declassification Review Analyst will work at a client site in Springfield, VA to provide support togovernment clients on a team of Declassification Review Analysts. They will provide initial declassification reviewrecommendations to a Senior Analyst with final declassification determinations by a GovernmentDeclassification Review Analyst. The Junior Declassification Review Analyst will be placed, based on operational
need, within the Automatic Declassification Review (ADR), Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR), or ForeignRelations of the United States (FRUS) Review Teams. The Junior Declassification Review Analyst will be requiredto attend a paid 2-week Declassification certification training hosted at the Springfield, VA worksite with thepassing of two exams required for continued employment in the role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct initial declassification reviews in support of Government agency
Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine the appropriate action needed in accordance withE.O. 13526
Demonstrate understanding of document markings to include classification markings
Utilize analytical skills to make recommendations on documents for release, referral to other agencies, andexemption from automatic declassification
Recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information
Properly handle boxes and documents (boxes can weigh between 15-25 lbs.) and ensure integrity of each andevery box remains intact

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent Military experience
Ability to communicate effectively - both orally and in writing
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and adjust to established work patterns and processes asrequired
Experience level may be waived with government client or prime approval

Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TopSecret clearance

Compensation and Benefits

Hiring salary range is $60,000-$66,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
