Position Summary

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting the United States Army and training military personnel.

The selected candidate will work at the National Simulation Center in the Analysis and Test Division.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintains business intelligence solutions to meet organizational requirements. Transforming raw data from various sources into interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support informed, data-driven data as required by the Government Task Lead.
  • Connect and consolidate data from disparate sources, including enterprise systems (e.g., Army Vantage), databases (e.g., cProbe), spreadsheets, and cloud services, to provide a comprehensive view of organizational information.
  • Conduct data modeling and transformation, which includes, but not limited to structuring, cleansing, and refining data to create robust and reliable data models for analysis.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Create tailored dashboards and reports that convert complex data into actionable insights, making it easy to visualize and analyze critical information.
  • Monitor data source integrity and the efficiency of data transformation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain expertise in relevant Army data platforms and commercial Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze and visualize data.
  • This position may require some travel not to exceed 20%

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in military operations, military information technology, or military models and simulations.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with databases and data querying languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Experience with Army data systems such as Army Vantage.
  • Familiarity with cProbe or similar data environments.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
