The Sales Representative - Independent Pharmacy is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships within the independent pharmacy channel. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding share of wallet with existing accounts, and serving as a trusted partner to pharmacy owners, operators, and decision-makers. The Sales Representative will execute territory sales plans, manage pipeline activity, support contract and pricing discussions, and work cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and company growth objectives. This role is remote with up to 60% travel. Candidates must live near the Atlanta area.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to increase market share and drive profitable growth within the independent pharmacy channel.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing independent pharmacy customers.
  • Conduct regular customer outreach and in-person visits to understand business needs, present solutions, and reinforce value through consultative selling.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through pricing, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy owners, operators, buyers, and other key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
  • Use market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform sales strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare forecasts, maintain accurate sales activity records, and provide regular pipeline and performance updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer service, marketing, and finance to ensure excellent customer support and successful execution.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets while delivering year-over-year growth.
  • Represent the company professionally and demonstrate behaviors consistent with our guiding principles.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Ability to develop territory plans, key account strategies, and actionable growth plans.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with demonstrated success closing deals.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including pricing, margin, forecasting, and opportunity evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) to build forecasts, analyze opportunities, and create customer presentations.
  • Ability to work independently as an energetic self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions to support customer success.
  • Willing and able to travel by air and car within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience calling on independent pharmacies, community pharmacies, pharmacy owners, or related healthcare customers.
  • Experience with consultative, value-based, or solution selling.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales pipeline management tools to track and report opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the independent pharmacy landscape, including customer decision drivers, competitive dynamics, and relationship-based selling approaches.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, OTC, wellness, or related industry sales.
  • Experience managing regional or national accounts and working in a dynamic pricing or contract environment.
