ProStar Staffing is hiring an Entry-Level Shipping Clerk for an immediate, temp-to-hire opening in Waukegan.

Your Day-to-Day Impact
  • Label & Ship: Generate and apply accurate shipping labels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and carrier software.
  • Utilizing UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight carriers.
  • Stay Organized: Maintain precise shipment paperwork and records.
  • Work Safe: Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
  • Deliver Quality: Hit daily productivity targets to keep our clients' customers happy.

What We Are Looking For
  • Language Skills: Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).
  • Experience: Prior warehouse, shipping, logistics, or 3PL experience is highly preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic computer literacy to navigate shipping software. Experience with RF scanners or WMS is a major plus!
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a reliable work ethic.

Physical Demands
  • Comfort standing and walking throughout your shift.
