APB Logistics Inc. is an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground based in Ocala FL. We have immediate opening(s) to hire experienced package delivery drivers to operate large company owned delivery vehicles. **PRIOR PACKAGE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE AND LARGE-VEHICLE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.**
PAY: $135 per day after paid training with potential increase to $150 after 90 days - paid weekly via direct deposit
Stop bonuses available per route

Paid-Time-Off and 401(k) available for Full-time employees after 1-year service.
FLEXIBLE schedule - Weekend and Monday availability required
Work Hours: Start time of 8:00am to 8:30am with typical end time around 5pm to 6pm

Resume and/or Job History REQUIRED and MUST SUPPORT large vehicle driving experience and package delivery experience for us to consider your application.

This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver lifts heavy packages and gets in and out of the truck many times each day.
Driver Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS):
  • Must be able to pass an in-depth background check
  • Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Physically able to handle packages up to 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 150 pounds with dolly, potentially up several flights of stairs
  • Physically able to get into and out of a large delivery vehicle many times throughout the day
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Skilled in the ability to accurately locate addresses using GPS and/or maps
  • Delivery Driver experience and experience driving a large delivery vehicle (16' box-truck, P1000, etc.) is required.
Driver Responsibilities:
The Driver must have a good sense of direction and the ability to work quickly, productively, independently, respectfully, safely, and responsibly.
  • Efficiently make designated stops and designated pick-ups
  • Verify paperwork via electronic device for deliveries and pick-ups
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work safely to prevent injury to yourself, to others, and damage to products and property
