Job description

A loving family is seeking a warm, engaging, and proactive Nanny Manager to primarily care for their infant while helping maintain the smooth day-to-day flow of the household. Their older child is a happy, social, and energetic toddler who loves reading books, singing, swimming, walks, playground adventures, and outdoor activities. She attends school from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each weekday, so the Nanny Manager's primary focus will be the infant throughout the day. There may be opportunities for additional interaction with the toddler if the Nanny Manager is interested in staying later on occasion for evening coverage or date nights. The family is looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about working with children, highly interactive, and committed to providing a screen-free, hands-on environment. Experience with infant sleep training is strongly preferred, as establishing healthy sleep habits is an important goal for the family. The ideal candidate is positive, nurturing, bubbly, dependable, and an excellent communicator who enjoys sending updates and photos throughout the day.
In addition to childcare, the Nanny Manager will assist with household support duties, including children's laundry, dishes, tidying and organizing common areas, stocking diaper stations, monitoring household supplies, taking out diaper pails, and occasional errands. Light meal preparation, such as chopping vegetables or marinating meats, is appreciated when time allows. The family has a bi-weekly deep cleaning service, so responsibilities are limited to maintaining daily organization and cleanliness. They are seeking someone who is punctual, genuine, teachable, easy to communicate with, and willing to occasionally assist with date nights. A candidate who lives nearby and can become a long-term, trusted part of the family would be an excellent fit.
